Cannot create branch on carob

lifeless asked me to raise a bug about this.

I want to branch fast-user-switch-applet on bzr-playground into a new personal branch ~tthurman/fast-user-switch-applet/awn and publish it. This has crashed in a variety of ways recently; I thought that logging into carob and issuing the command there would stand a better chance, but it still gave me an error. The error was much simpler, though:

tthurman@carob:/srv/bzr/tthurman/fast-user-switch-applet$ rm -rf awn
tthurman@carob:/srv/bzr/tthurman/fast-user-switch-applet$ bzr branch /srv/bzr/gnome/fast-user-switch-applet/trunk/ awn
bzr: ERROR: Revision {<email address hidden>} not present in "1@d5e7fefb-e925-0410-b560-d4bd513fe460:trunk:".
