Bug Description
I think some processes could be started after or while gnome is starting, as,
for example, sound and networking. It would increase the boot process speed. I
tried doing so in Gentoo and it worked. Perhaps a matter could be the lack of
administrator privileges...

Scott James Remnant is actively working on redesigning and speeding up the boot
process. Bugzilla is not really the place to discuss this.
