Bug Description

After upgrading Breezy to Dapper, the "Applications" menu (Main menu) on the panel
will not drop down. "Places and "System" menus work fine. Issue also exts when "Main
Menu" icon is installed as an add-on through the panel properties on either the top
or bottom panels.

"Will not drop down"?

Since I upgraded last night, the Applications menu appears very quickly then
disappears. It might be the same thing, but our descriptions are a little bit
different.

I am using the Clearlooks theme and Focus Follows Mouse.

Same for me. I have 28 "kept back" pacages showing on upgrade, which I am not
yet ready to attempt to force. There are no obvious culprits in the kept-back
list, but I have just "successfully (?)" upgraded to xcore 7.0 RC1 after
xserver borked. This appears to be the only problem with my Dapper install at
the moment.

Ditto. Ran gnome-panel on Xephyr and got the following. I assume workspace
switcher is actually fine, as it works on my desktop, and the first time I ran
Xephyr (without panel --verbose, which wasn't that useful).

As far as I can see, the possible problems are evolution.desktop being missing,
or something with !prefs_key at the end, when I actually tried opening the menu.

sorry, I misread. It's gtk_drag_source_set_icon_name that had a problem after I
opened the menu.

Change package to gnome-menus, or at least cc seb128 so the bug is noticed?
