Bug Description

As far as I know there is no "stable" branch on Ubuntu.
Still, synaptic mentions it on Preferences -> Distribution

synaptic Version: 0.62.1ubuntu8

The distribution list comes from the distributions listed in your sources.

In bugabundo's and vish's sources.list it's the line
deb http://dl.google.com/linux/deb/ stable non-free main

What do you suggest ? Only display the 'official' distributions ?
