Bug Description
Binary package hint: maradns
There are new stable releases of maradns (1.2.12.10 and 1.3.07.09) that fix
a bug that prevents exim from sending mail when a domain does not have
an MX record.
I've hit this issue using hardy with a default exim4 configuration. From what
I've seen, there is no possible workaround (neither in exim nor in maradns).
There is more information at http://
Please consider upgrading and backporting the package to hardy.
Thanks a lot,
Alberto

Note that this also affects intrepid, because it includes 1.3.07.08-1.
I've uploaded a package for intrepid that is a direct conversion of Debian's
1.3.07.09, which fixes this bug.
You can find it at https:/ /launchpad. net/~albertito/ +archive.
I've just noticed jaunty's version should be fine too, but I haven't tested it.
Thanks,
Alberto
