As we are in Feature Freeze now, you need an exception to get a new package into the archive.

Without this package LXDE, which is already in universe, would be incomplete. This package is a fast and lightweight alternative for gnome-terminal and part of the LXDE project.

While accepting NEW packages at this point is allowed, could you please test at least if pacakge builds/installs/runs fine?

No open bugs in Debian, dependencies are standard, I'm giving my +1, but note that, due to archivers workload, this might not make it into Intrepid.
