Bug Description
While installation process of "Ubuntu Server 8.10 Alpha 4" i tried to install it on two hard disks, which are in a RAID-0 Set called "NVIDIA". (Mainboard: ASUS M2n-SLI Deluxe, nfocre 570sli).
The Alternate installer of 8.10 Server didn't recognized this RAID-set.
Can i use (just as a workaround) the graphical installer?
When can i expect a working alternate installer with dmraid?

Thanks for your report, which is also bug 22107. I'm marking this as a duplicate.
As I noted in that bug, current daily builds of Intrepid should have dmraid support. Please try this and report back.
