Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately we can't fix it, because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http:// www.chiark. greenend. org.uk/ ~sgtatham/ bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.
1. How did you create the .lyx file? Did you use LyX? LyX is a document processor, a GUI frontend to LaTeX, and therefore unrelated to programming other than as a method to prepare documentation.
2. Please explain what you are using the LyX file for. Is the LyX file documentation for your C program, or is it part of the program? In other words, what are you expecting to do with the LyX file?
3. If you run the command "lyx *.lyx" (without quotes) in the terminal, replacing * with the filename, what is outputted?
Please attach your LyX file so we can take a look at it. This will help us to find and resolve the problem.
