Bug Description

Binary package hint: gdm

Please make it possible for an administrator to allow anybody to launch a guest session from the gdm login screen. This shouldn’t be allowed by default, of course.

It would also make it possible for a guest to visit the computer by herself when the screen is locked by a user: just hit “Switch user” in the gnome-screensaver unlock dialog and then start a guest session.

thank you for your bug report. not giving this choice is a design decision and not a bug, the guest session has been designed by something which should be started by somebody who wants to give access to the computer to somebody else, it doesn't make possible for anybody to use a computer
