Hardy: Ekiga seems to hang up straight away rather than connecting a call

SYMPTOMS: Rather than making a call ekiga hangs up almost imediately

CAUSE: unknown

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1/ open ekiga
2/ create an account
3/ call sip:<email address hidden> for the echo test
4/ watch it hang up rather than connect.

I have seen this behaviour with existing accounts as well. Possible issue with logging into the authentication server.

I connects but I'm no longer able to use it as the mic and speaker no longer function. I'm guessing a conflict with pulse audio but I could be wrong.

Thank you for the try :)

At the moment there is no support for the upgrade, thus your preferences might have been compromised.

Two things to checks:

Edit->Preferences->Audio->devices: select "Default" for all 3 entries.

Edit->Preferences->Audio->codecs: enable all of them.
