Bug Description

Binary package hint: ekiga

Hi,

when the compiz desktop effects are activated, the fullscreen mode does not "grab" the screen successfully. The video is for fractions of a second fullscreen, but snaps back into windowed mode.

There is one funny thing I noticed, though. When you move the mouse in the beginning and keep it moving, the video is fullscreen as long as you keep the mouse moving. The moment you stop moving the mouse the video snaps back to windowed mode and stays there even when you start moving the mouse again some seconds later.

Fullscreen mode works fine when desktop effects are deactivated.

Cheers
Jan Girlich

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04? Thanks in advance.
