Creating a Workspace does not work

Installed Release series “0.70”, and pulled from Trunk.

When I try to create workspace. An error dialog pops up. telling me that: "Not a branch: "/home/javier/bzrt/xxx/"."

Also the side panel never shows anything..

my command line output is:

/home/nick/.gnome2/gedit/plugins/bzr/__init__.py:1807: GtkWarning: gtk_menu_attach_to_widget(): menu already attached to GtkImageMenuItem
  toolbuton.set_menu(menu.get_submenu())

I am running gedit 2.22.3
