Please backport zaptel and asterisk from Intrepid

The versions of Zaptel and Asterisk in Intrepid contain a bugfix for a toneduration problem (asterisk bug id 0012456) and also uses the OSLEC echo canceler by default. Please consider backporting.

This appears to be an SRU worthy bug. Please file a bug against Asterix and Zaptel asking for the SRU (subscribing motu-sru) team to review it. If they decide it is not worthy of an SRU fix, then please reopen this bug and link it to the SRU team's response.

bump. i can't make calls because of dead sip channels and i have to continually do a 'sip reload' or /etc/init.d/asterisk restart.

i need this backport too.

I would also like to see this backport to potentially solve a rather annoying IAX2 issue, which is believed to be fixed in 1.4.20:
