Remove favorite disappears

Summary:
When adding some apps to the menu, the Remove Favorite icon completely disappears from the launcher.

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Preferences -> Main Menu
2) From Accessories add Terminal
3) From Administration add Synaptic
4) Close

Expected result:
Icons are added to launcher without affecting the availability of existing apps

Actual result:
Remove favorite icon disappears

Hmm, I'm not getting this in my tests.

I click on Preferences on the launcher, select Main Menu and then add terminal and synaptic. When I close the menu-editor I am returned to the launcher and I'm still on the preferences tab. When I click "Favourites" the remove-favourite icon shows as normal.

Does this problem happen all the time for you?

Hmm, Try running synaptic after install. It was the only other step, but I did not think it was valid so left it out of the original steps. Perhaps it is causing the problem.

While trying to fix a similar bug, I think this one is also fixed (I can't reproduce in over 10 tries). It was due to some weirdness in the lpia compile which caused the pointers for the left and right bars to be interchanged, and this caused some random deleting of shortcuts.

If you can still reproduce this bug, please re-open.
