after install no usb flash support

Bug Description

If you install Ubuntu from an usb flash drive the installation works but after restart if you insert an usb flash drive it won't be recognized.
in /etc/fstab the drive will be recognized as an cd-rom

This is not a bug of liveusb. (liveusb only turns the CD into a Live USB medium. It does not have anything to do with how the Live USB medium itself behaves.)

/dev/sdb1 it the usb flash from where I installed ubuntu, but after the instalation(reboot) everytime I plug a usb flash it isn't recognized.
If you look in my /etc/fstab(attached) you'll see that /dev/sda1 is recognized as an cd-rom

are you using the same flash drive you install it with , or is it every flash drive that does not work?

It only happened with the same flash dive I installed with,but with ubuntu 8.10 it recognize the usb flash so i'll set it to closed
