gnome-keyring password prompt blocks gnome-panel

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel
This is on Ubuntu Hardy.

I have several SFTP servers bookmarked in the "Places" menu.
I use a password manager that sits in the tray on a panel.

Whenever i select a SFTP server from the places menu so that a password prompt is displayed, *all* gnome panels freeze.
I can't bring up the password manager because it sits in the tray.
I can't switch to the password manager window because the window list is frozen too (alt-tab is a workaround).

I guess gnome-panel should spawn another process (nautilus?) before trying to read the password so it doesn't block on stuff like this.
