I cannot reproduce this with Awn 0.3.1 trunk r450 and Xfwm4 4.4.2. Can anyone reproduce this with metacity?

I could reproduced it once with compiz 0.7.6. Just can't seem to reproduce it accurately. Also happened some times in the past.

Hi, I start Awn from the Applications menu as I am yet to set up a script with a 10s delay. The easiest way for me to reproduce is to switch to an empty workspace and that ensures Awn has focus then press Alt-F4.
Btw I am on compiz 0.7.4

I'm unable to reproduce this with Intrepid's compiz (0.7.8).

Does anyone still experience this problem?

I know how to reproduce this error:

Requirements:
 - CompizConfig Settings Manager 0.7.6
  - Desktop Cube
  - Rotate Cube
 - Avant Window Navigator 0.2.1
 - [0 or 2+] windows open

Steps:
1) Open no programs or two or more programs in a single face of the cube. (I opened a terminal and firefox but it will work with anything or nothing)
1a) Make sure you don't have only one program open. It works with only one program open.
2) Rotate to a window that does not have the open programs in it. Give it focus by letting go of Alt+Ctrl.
3) Rotate back to the window with two programs. Let go of Alt-Ctrl. Press Alt-F4.

This should have closed the AWN. It works for me every time. Please can I see if I can get others to confirm this.

I just compiled 3.2 and ran it and tried to reproduce this error but the issue does not seem to be appearing. I will try it on a few more machines but i think this problem is fixed in 3.2. Can other people that are having this issue upgrade to 3.2 and tell me if they are having any issues?

I can reproduce the bug and on 0.3.2

1) Set a keyboard shortcut to hide all windows and set focus on the desktop
2) Open three windows
3) hide them all with the keyboard shortcut
4) show two of them clicking on their icon in awn
5) press Alt-F4 twice

Anybody can confirm?

I can also reproduce it in 0.3.9: minimize all windows (not sure whether this is necessary, I just did it), then open a window (I opened gnome-terminal via F12 (key binding)), then I press Alt+F4, it closes gnome-terminal, then immediately Alt+F4 again. It hides the panel and kills all applet processes, but the awn process itself seems to keep running.

I'm still unable to reproduce it in ways you describe guys, my guess is that it has something to do with one of compiz's plugins. Is anyone able to reproduce on other WMs?
