Bug Description
Binary package hint: kubuntu-
Hi all !
Lot of people complains about the uglyness of the gtk apps in kubuntu desktop.
I have just discovered (and was surprised) than by just selecting a theme (glossy for example) in the gnome control center, the result is very great in kde, much more than with the use of other workarounds like gtk-qt-engine packages.
I think than theme that are clone of the oxygen exist in gnome-looks.org and i wonders why kubuntu just not apply by default one of this clone theme from gtk apps or just the glossy one.
I can now use xchat, firefox gimp in kde and have a pleasant looking experience with it.
Could we just add a minimal dependencies package (should be possible to not to install the control center, just the theme to apply ?) for that with kubuntu-desktop ?
Cheers !!
I have not seen the theme in question, however, I agree that theming GTK would be a great way to help KDE compatibility. Is there a technical reason not to?
