newly created lp users have no account on staging

Bug Description

If someone using python-launchpad-bugs has just created a launchpad user they will not have an account on staging, as that database is only sync'ed every 24 hours at best, and subsequently do_login in http_connection.py will fail.

This is highly unlikely but still a bug.

hmm, I don't understand how this is related to python-launchpad-bugs. We are depending on the data provided by launchpad, so if launchpad needs such a long time to sync user data there is nothing we can do about it. So I think it's a bug in launchpad, they should sync user accounts more often.

As a workaround you should be able to create a temporary account on staging via the web interface

Please correct me if I did not understand your point here correctly.

I was thinking that not being able to log into staging should not be considered a total failure of logging in at all.
