cant change accounts name

if a user adds two accounts for the same protocol, it just autonumbers them.

It should be possible to select an alias for each account, for easier remembering

This functionality already exists. On the "Accounts" screen, click on the account name in the list of accounts on the left, and it becomes editable.

Maybe the UI should make this more obvious though...
