Logout from Gnome session takes long time

Well, I'm using dapper drake and when I try to logout from a gnome session with the
menu command, immediately after I logged in, I've to wait more than 1 minute to be
able to have the dialog box asking me if I want to restart, alt, etc...
Moreover if I try to shutdown from terminal the GDM exits to console that hangs
without prompting anything until the machine halt.
If I try to shutdown directly from console, indeed it works correctly.

Thanks for your bug. Is your "lo" interface correctly configured? Does "ping
127.0.0.1" work fine?

What's "lo" interface ?
However the ping command works well.

The "lo" is the loopback. Could you run "ifconfig" and copy the text about "lo"
to this bug?

This configuration is correct. Do you still have the issue? Does it happen every
time?

Yes it happens every time. And if I read the system monitor during this pause,
nothing seems to be wrong. Also dmsg doesn't output anything strange.
Oh I forgot, it happens from both the users' and root sessions.

Yes it seems quite the same. Sorry I didn't find it before. However the issue
seems not to be solved yet !
