Binary package hint: evolution
Recently on my intrepid amd64 system, the evolution Compose Message window started going crazy: every character I type causes the message text to jump around between the four corners of the window. This is perhaps best illustrated by the following screenshots.

I think this started happening around the time of the evolution 2.23.6-0ubuntu1 upgrade.
