Thank you for taking your time to file this bug and help make Ubuntu better.

When amarok hand is it that it just stops playing or the entire windows including the menus are unresponsive? If the menus are responsive, you can try Report Bug option from the menu. In addition, can you please check /var/crash/ directory for any crash file related to amarok?

Are you using amarok in GNOME desktop or KDE desktop?

When amarok has been hanging, I can't doing whatever with it. So any report of the bug isn't showing, so I runed amarokapp from console by strace.

Steps to reproduce bug:
1. Run amarok
2. Click Play/Pause (with option Shuffle->Tracks - I'm not sure that is, I have polish translation)
3. 1st song playing, 2nd, 3rd boring me so I click 'Next track', 4th playing, 5th playing etc... xth playing finish, next track must start play and amarok has been hang.

I using amarok in GNOME desktop.

Now I've Amarok compiled from SVN and this same problem is alive. In gnome-system-monitor amarokapp look as futex_wait when has been hanged. /var/crash doesn't have anything about amarok. The backtrace gives info about libxine. Maybe I don't have installed any libraries or codecs?

If you have the same bug with the Amarok compiled from SVN, then you need to report the bug to upstream bug tracker and link (a bug watch) that upstream bug here using the "Also affects Project" link seen above. Report the bug at http://bugs.kde.org/ and add a bug watch for the same to this bug. Thanks in advance.
