Hi,

can you provide the following info:
1. ubuntu version (lsb_release -d)
2. package version (dpkg -l evolution)
3. steps/instructions you followed to setup gCal?

Same problem here.

1. Description: Ubuntu 8.04.1
2. ii evolution 2.22.3.1-0ubun groupware suite with mail client and organiz
3. Switch to calendar view. New calendar. Type: Google. Insert data. Verify that all appointments are loaded correctly. Now create a new appointment. It's created in the GUI. But after restarting evolution, the appointment is gone. So it has never been transmitted to google, without any warning in the GUI.

Can you execute Evolution with the debug option from command line and try all the mentioned Gcal -related operations so we have a complete log ?

Open Applications > Accessories > Terminal then run:
evolution --debug=evo-debug-launchpadid.txt

Then attach the resulting files to this case file - of course replace launchpadid in the filename with your own launchpad ID.

Still present in Ubuntu 9.04 (Evolution 2.26.1-0ubuntu1).

In my case any new appointment I made on Evolution calendar are recorded as appointment in the same day starting from 12.00 AM and lasting for 24 hours. Even after editing the event in Google Calendar, Evolution still records it as a 24 hours event.
This problem does not occur if the event is created in Google Calendar.

In my case (Ubuntu 9.04), syncing only works the other way around: appointments added in Evolution are successfully synced to Google Calendar, but I don' t see any appointments created in Google Calendar.

So, the only appointments I can see in Evolution are those I explicitly created there.
