Binary package hint: bitpim
Intrepid Ibex, updated as of 2008-08-10, amd64 version.
after installation, the bitpim application refuses to start, with the following showing in terminal:
$ bitpim

This seems like a missing dependency issue.
To resolve it one needs to install the: python-wxgtk2.8 package.
