xmms font is unreadable/ugly

Lowering Severity and Priority since it seems that not many people are experimenting this problem. I will close the bug if I cannot reproduce it in Dapper (and nobody else reports it either).

I confirm that bag, it's looks similar to
xmms doesn't display cyrillic fonts (https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/xmms/+bug/36683) with screenshot attached.

Hi, what is the way, which remove bug? Do U just install or upgrade?
May be U install any additional packages?

I cant' close bug because it's not mine and it reproduces by another users.

I upgraded to Dapper and I don't see the bug anymore. This bug has nothing to do with cyrillic characters. If you still see the bug you mention, then it is fine to not close your bug report. But this bug has only been experienced by me so far and it seems fixed in Dapper. So there is no point in keeping it open.
