Bug Description

/etc/init.d/console-screen.sh exits immediatly if setupcon is present.

The comment there says that in this case console-setup is superseeding this script.

However: console-setup does not set any setterm related options like console blanking, so setting BLANK_TIME in /etc/console-tools/config for example is not working anymore and there is no such setting in /etc/console-setup/*

I think either console-setup has to be extended to set console timeout values to fix this or the console-screen.sh has be changed so that it will not exit immediatly but change settings of things that console-setup does not do.

Confirmed, it is not possible to set blantime to 0.
In my work we have 10-15 pcs with ubuntu 8.04LTS running in console mode controlling the producction. After 10 minutes, the screen switches to blank until someone press a key. Its very frustrating.
I have edited /etc/console-tools/config, but with no results.
