Since easytag worked for some time and it doesn't anymore (the above crash is reproducible with different albums, .mp3, .ogg, .flac alike) i experimented a little and found out that it doesn't happen anymore, when i delete my ~/.easytag directory.

I have a backup of the problematic ~/.easytag. If it is needed/wanted I might post it here or send it to you.
