Branch link page is too anal

Bug Description
When I put a unique branch name into the bug branch linking page, it
complains to me that its invalid.
e.g. I might put in '3834'
When there is only one matching branch it would be much nicer to select
that rather than forcing me to click on the correct branch in the
proffered list. Taking the wrong one shouldn't be a huge deal - the user
can always remove one link and add a better one if lp got it wrong.
