Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

Ubuntu Intrepid alpha 3

1. In the "Where are you?" step of the installer, hover over the map.

What happens: After a short delay, the map zooms in immediately.
What should happen: After a short delay, the map takes ~1 second to zoom in smoothly.

The same applies to zooming out when exiting the map.

Bug 203423 was marked fixed on June 2. Intrepid alpha 3 was released on July 25. This bug is not fixed in Intrepid alpha 3. Therefore either this is not a duplicate, or bug 203423 should be reopened. As the reporter of both bugs, I think it would be more useful to track this specific bug separately.

Since Ubuntu 9.04, the timezone map no longer zooms, so this bug is effectively fixed.
