kate cannot open file in subdirectory

Bug Description

Binary package hint: kate

This is Intrepid Ibex material: kate 3.1.0.
How to reproduce:
* I have this dir structure:
hbackup
\ lib
 \ buffer.cpp
\ cli
 \ hbackup.cpp

open buffer.cpp -> no prob
open hbackup.cpp doing the following fails:
File -> Open
up one dir level
type cli/hbackup.cpp in location text field (autocompletion works!)
Error: the file could not be loaded

I can reproduce this bug here. It only appears if you try to open the file using the text field. The error message also says that I sould check my permissions.

My Versions:
Kubuntu 8.10
KDE 4.1.3
Kate 3.1.3

Strangely, if I build Kate from the Ubuntu sources, it does not
present the bug!?!

Hey Hervé,

I just tried with Kate 3.2.1 (KDE 4.2.1) and this seems to working just fine, so I suppose we can consider this bug fixed for 9.04+

Yes this was fixed before KDE 4.2 was released... Can be safely closed.
