Link to manual in the placeholder index.html is a 404

Bug Description

The placeholder index.html file installed by apache in /var/www has a link to "The Apache documentation stored on your server", http://localhost/doc/apache-doc/manual/

This file does not exist.

In Edgy, the link now points to http://localhost/manual/, which also does not exist. Even with apache-doc installed. The apache-doc package probably ought to install a symlink.

This seems to be no longer a problem with Feisty, where the default homepage contains only the "It works" string (see bug 89364)
