pidgin does not show the last typed line

Binary package hint: pidgin

when I am typing inside a chat window after pressing return to send my typed line i do not see it on the screen unless one of these things happen :
1)another line is entered by either side
2)a minimize and then maximize is done
3)at least one scroll is done between pidgin open tabs
this problem exists for a long time !
i am ready to provide more information if needed !

I can confirm this bug still exists. I've had it from gutsy onwards and it's my main reason for always having 2 tabs open to switch between.

I can confirm this bug for Pidgin 2.4 and also the backported 2.5 on Ubuntu Hardy. It doesn't always happen, but when it does, I find that clicking in the conversation will reveal the text.

I have tried on this version and happily with the last update of pidgin it is FIXED !
