Bug Description

Wikipedia's detail pages of images appear often broken. I've attached a picture illustrating the effect when visiting http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Image%3AINTERCAL_Circuitous_Diagram.svg

The behavior has been similar with all releases of FF3 which I've encountered with Hardy's updates.

I can verify that the same problem exists. More specifically, if either a. I click on a link to the info page for an image, or b. I switch from another tab to a tab that has such an info page up, it will not render the new info page, but just display whatever it was displaying before. Actions that require updating the display, such as scrolling down to a new portion of the page, or hovering over a link, or drag-clicking to select text, will update only those select regions with the correct contents.
The example link above didn't have the problem as much for me as examples like this do:

I'd like to verify this problem and also have some additional information. When opening the hyperlink posted by Daniel Schroeder (above), the problem only occurs at the default zoom level of Firefox 3 (accessible via Ctrl+0) and at lower zoom levels (Ctrl+-). At higher zoom levels (Ctrl++) than the default one, the page loads normally.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, you are not using the most recent version of this package for Hardy. Please upgrade to the most recent version in Hardy and let us know if you are still having this issue. Thanks in advance.

I was not able to replicate this in Jaunty amd64 3.0.10

As far as I can tell, the problem seems to have been fixed by now. I use Jaunty, amd64 and firefox 3.0.9 and do not experience this problem anymore.

Is this issue still occurring for you with the latest version of Firefox?
