Description:
without gtk-qt everything works as expected, once installed all gtk application crash with a segfault.

Confirmed in kde4.1.1. I had gtk-qt-engine-kde4 and gtk-qt-engine installed.

Purging gtk-qt-engine removed the conflict. Gimp and Firefox then started as expected.

The gtk-qt-engine-kde4 package in the KDE4 ppa just needs a conflicts/replace on the gtk-qt-engine package.

This should be fixed in Intrepid now that gtk-qt-engine-kde4 was transitioned to gtk-qt-engine.
