Get-You should have a launchpad contributors string set up in the translations and added to the about box under contributors → translators.

That's the right idea, but sadly not the correct one. There's a dynamic string that launchpad will fill out itself that I was thinking off. It adds the list of the contributors on launchpad in order depending on the size of their work.

It's dynamic and isn't allowed to be translated, as launchpad does it by itself.

I just uploaded a new template... if they had mentioned this string in the official launchpad help, I would have added it much earlier...
