Bug Description

Binary package hint: pulseaudio

If I set the default server in pulseaudio /etc/pulse/client.conf or ~/.pulse/client.conf pulseaudio doesn't recognize the configuration, it still uses the local sound server.

This is the original patch from Mandriva. Maybe it is interesting for Intrepid if you don't update to the latest version of pulseaudio.

I would like to know if this patch will make it into Intrepid?

I have tested this patch in hardy, because I have no Intrepid system right now.
As far as I know this patch isn't in the version of Intrepid.
I have looked at the patch set and couldn't find it.

The patch should be included in pulseaudio 0.9.11 as far as I know.

It would be nice if someone could tell me if there is something missing from this report or If you plan to include pulseaudio 0.9.11 in intrepid.
