Bug Description
We use version 0.46 of inkscape for Windows and Linux (Slackware12 and Fedora8). We create multilevel picture with the background and some upper text layers. When we apply the opacity for the background then in the saved pdf file for linux version the true type text is replaced by a raster. This is not the case in windows version.
If you still see this issue with the current release version (Inkscape 0.47) - could you attach a sample SVG document so that we can try to reproduce it?
