Bug Description

Binary package hint: mozilla-firefox

Hi,
QuickTime player is installed on my system.
I listen the songs online from site (Ex:
http://sound9.mp3pk.com/indian/tashan/tashan07(www.songs.pk).mp3
If you launch the above url in firefox, by default the song is played in the apple quicktime player.
Now if i will try to open a new tab using the shortcut key [ctrl+t], it doesn't work.

My system details:
OS- Win-XP sp2
Browser: Firefox 3.0.1
Plug-in: QuickTime Plug-in 7.5 (861)

I am not sure whether it is a known bug or limitation.

Thanks & best regards,
Jitendra

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04? Thanks in advance.

plugins grabbing focus and X events is nothing ffox can really prevent. Complain to the plugin developers about this rogue behaviour.
