gnome-session leaving zombie's

Binary package hint: gnome-session

On an up-to-date Intrepid system, gnome-session appears to be leaving a lot of zombie's - evident immediately after logging in via GDM.

Some information about my system:

I will confirm this bug exists on my fesh install of A3 64bit from alternate install cd.
