Bug Description

<Build: UNR 20080725>
<Environment: CG - 8.9">

Summary:
When launched F-spot for the first time it does not open as maximized. It looks like the application is sent the same dialogue dimensions as the Setup dialogue for importing images.

The application should launch full screen with a smaller overlay import dialogue

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Launch F-spot

Expected result:
The application should launch full screen with a smaller overlay import dialogue

Actual result:
Main application and import dialogue are both small windows

This is a strange behaviour. It gets maximised, but then resizes itself before showing the contents of the window.

I changed the gconf default for /apps/f-spot/ui/maximized to true. A more complete description of the problem is in upstream bugzilla 549612, linked to by this bug.
