Bug Description

I'm running Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex (alpha), and Update Managers is telling me that 2 updates are available, for packages libilmbase6 and libopenexr6. However, these packages are not installed on my system.

If I use aptitude, these packages are marked "p" (purged), and don't show in the list of "upgradable packages".

Thanks for your bugreport

Could you please open a terminal and run:
$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -o Debug::pkgDepCache::AutoInstall=true
and attach the terminal output here?

Sorry, but I just upgraded today (before seeing your message), and it seems to have solved (or hidden) the problem.

Now: % sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -o Debug::pkgDepCache::AutoInstall=true
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Calculating upgrade... Done
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.

If I see the problem happen again, I'll be sure to run this command line.
