Bug Description

Hello,

I don't know if this bug is related to the binary package of KDE4 built for Kubuntu-kde4 (I'm using the KDE 4.1 RC1) or if it a bug with KDE4 itself.

This is what I saw until now. When I run easyeclipse (www.easyeclipse.org) this application crash when I move my cursor over the javadoc window when eclipse is configured to open that kind of windows in a perspective. It also happen when the pop-up window of javadoc is displayed (when you move your mouse cursor over a java keyword which has some documentaiton). The only message that I receive when easyeclipse crash it is "Aborted" there is no other logs, nothing in the system log... nothing.

The funny part now is that with root account, I don't have any issue with KDE4. The cosmetic difference that I see when I use between root and a regular user is that the background color of the javadoc window is grey with the regular user and it is yellow with root (which should be the normal situation.

Beside that, I also tried to run on the same machine easyeclipse with KDE 3.5.9 with a regular user and there it is also working normaly and the javadoc window in that case is also yellow.

So there is something special with KDE 4.1 and easyeclipse and/or java.

I have the same behaviour whatever the java JVM that I use (sun JVM, java openjdk, sun 1.5 version, a.s.o....)

Thanks.

Best regards.

O.D.
