Bug Description

Binary package hint: freecol

Description: Ubuntu 8.04.1
Release: 8.04

This is also with JAVA6 installed.
freecol refuses to start. When ran from the console the following is output:

You need to assign more memory to the JVM. Restart FreeCol with:
java -Xmx128M -jar FreeCol.jar

However, `bash -x freecol` outputs:
+ exec /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun/jre/bin/java -Xmx128M -jar /usr/share/java/freecol.jar --freecol-data /usr/share/games/freecol

The fix seems to be to change "-Xmx128M" to "-Xmx196M" or more in /usr/games/freecol. Perhaps this is an artifact of my screen resolution (1680x1050), memory (3GB) or something else. Regardless, 128MB appears not to be sufficient on my system and a trivial internet search yielded several others with the same symptom.
