Can't boot the system with linux-image-2.6.24-20.37

Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.24-20-generic

I'm currently using linux-image-2.6.24-19. When I try to boot the system with the latest kernel image (2.6.24-20) the system hangs. All I get is the first message after Grub, (Starting linux??? or something ) and then the screen goes black and nothing happens. No boot screen, no text that shows for few moments before the boot screen shows, no error message of any kind. I'm confused!

Using Ubuntu 8.04, dual boot (with Windows XP), used all previous kernel images from 2.6.24-16 to 2.6.24-19 and this is the first time I run into this kind of problem. I hope you'll mend the problem before this kernel image becomes official update.

Sorry It seams I made a terrible mistake and somehow reported this as firefox 3 bug. Please move this bug report to the right place or delete it and inform me to report it again at the right place. I am very very sorry for my mistake.
