Can not adjust the volume

Bug Description

The volume control in mozilla-mplayer is stuck at 90% volume and can not be adjusted.
Running an up-to-date Ubuntu 8.04.1 on i386 and Firefox 3.0.1.

Confirming the same issue with Epiphany 2.22.2 (stuck at 90% volume and nothing happens when pointing to/clicking the volume icone in the plugin).

Same problem here, stuck at 90%.
