Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

Firefox crashes when trying to open site www.google.com/gmm/. This is Google Maps for Mobile site. When opening in Opera, you can see error in the bottom right "Applet not found". In Firefox for windows, java icon appears in the system tray, and page opens correctly showing "X" in the place where java applet should be. However in Ubuntu - firefox just hangs.

1) Ubuntu 8.04
2) firefox 3.0+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1
3) Open page, even there's an error with applet
4) firefox hanged instead
