shared folder still accessible after stop sharing

Binary package hint: nautilus

I inserted CD ROM in the CD ROM drive, browsed to mounted point "/media/..." with nautilus, right clicked on mounted folder and shared the folder. The folder was shared correctly. When I tried to eject the cd error was: "An application is preventing the volume 'My Disc' from being unmounted". I stopped sharing with Nautilus, but still can't eject the CD and the folder is still accessible from the network. The shared folder is not presented in samba shares.

Right click on My Disc, sharing options, open folder sharing. You can
see that folder sharing is turned off, but the share is still active (I
can see it from the network) and I can't eject the cd.

I have just had this happen but with a folder not a CD. The sharing box unchecked itself but the folder is still appearing on the network and I can't seem to stop it.
I have tried rebooting and killing samba but it keeps coming back.
