mplayer SLOWstart with stop XScreenSaver option enabled

Hi!

I use mplayer ever and I have a problem when I have the Stop XScreenSaver option ENABLED (independent of the XScreenSaver desktop is enabled or not).
The problem is when I open a file to play the player don't start after a few secons and the player sometimes don't response.

I don't what report that this options come disabled by defaulf, but it should be correct ....i think.

I can confirm this bug in Intrepid, there is also a forum thread about it: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=741417

The delay can be skipped by pressing Ctrl-C.

Besides disabling the stop-xscreensaver option, the delay can be avoided by starting dcopserver before using mplayer.

The bug is still present in Jaunty.

Unreproducible in karmic. I'm pretty confident that this has been resolved with the rc3 release. Backports for jaunty can be found in the motumedia PPA.
