Bug Description

Using the ubuntu search plugin for firefox, I try to search for specific packages. The browser goes to "http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=search", but it always returns the same set of matches:

disksearch hp-search-mac libbsearch-ruby libbsearch-ruby1.8 libclass-dbi-abstractsearch-perl libdbix-fulltextsearch-perl libdbix-searchbuilder-perl libgecodesearch0 libperldoc-search-perl libqsearch-dev libqsearch-gomp-dev libqsearch-gomp1 libqsearch1 libqsearch1-headers libsearch-xapian-perl libsearchclient-dev libsearchclient0 libwww-opensearch-perl libwww-search-perl mnogosearch-common mnogosearch-dev mnogosearch-doc mnogosearch-mysql mnogosearch-pgsql mnogosearch-sqlite packagesearch python-pysearch qsearch-tools search-ccsb search-citeseer searchandrescue searchandrescue-common searchandrescue-data searchmonkey skksearch tracker-search-tool vdr-plugin-epgsearch

Weird. So I go to Debian's "packages.debian.org" to find what I need.

Running Gutsy/7.10 on an EeePC, Firefox 2.0.0.16.

All right... as soon as I entered the bug, I found the culprit (and this has been bugging me all weekend). I had the "noscript" plugin installed, so when I pressed [search], it looked for the text that was in the text box, which was set to "search". Apparently, with NoScript turned on, it kept the default text in that text box. And so all of my results had the word "search" in them.

Groan.
